Who can be the members

To maintain the sanctity of the society, the officers & Ex- Officers of Steel Authority Of India Limited can be the members of the Society.

However, a General Body Meeting of the Society was held on 22.05.2016 in which eligibility criteria for members was discussed. In the discussion, the entire GB was of the opinion that if the officers of other PSUs,Central and State Government officials,Professionals in the officer rank, etc. has also been added in the society, then our Society will be more viable and vibrant with a better homogeneous profile.

In view of this, the General Body unanimously decided to include officers of other PSUs,Central and State Government officials,Professionals in the officer rank, etc. in the Society. Now the officers of all the PSUs,Central and State Government officials,Professionals in the officer rank, etc. can become members of the Society and so they will also be eligible for purchasing a house in the society.
