The “Bokaro Steel Officers’ Housing Co-operative Society Limited”, registered with the Jharkhand Govt, is an upcoming residential township in the close vicinity of Bokaro Steel City. This society has been created for the basic purpose of meeting the residential needs of the officers of Steel Authority of India Limited/Bokaro Steel Plant as a welfare measure. Later on, based on the recommendation of the General Body of the Society, officers of other PSUs,Central and State Government officials,Professionals in the officer rank, etc. are also now permitted to become members and avail the housing facilities in the society. With inclusion of officers from other PSUs and others as members, the Society will become even more lively and vibrant.
